Before there was a bottle, a label or a name, there was a little girl on her grandad’s farm in Jamaica. Surrounded by fresh fruit and familiar flavours, she discovered that the best things were made with care and shared with others.

On her grandad’s farm, our founder helped prepare the first homemade batch of what would one day inspire Waddat. Sorrel, ginger and tropical fruit brought everyone to the table. For her, those moments became the taste of home.

A decade later, a new chapter in the UK brought new surroundings, but the flavours of Jamaica came too. Family gatherings became a place to share those much-loved recipes, keeping a connection to home alive, one glass at a time.

In 2025, Waddat officially launched, turning years of inspiration into a range of Jamaican-inspired drinks. From bold sorrel and warming ginger to tropical sea moss blends, the aim was simple: bring island flavour to more people, in a bottle ready to share.
